The Huskies practice today at 4:00PM at Husky Stadium. If you are in the neighborhood drop by the stadium to watch the team.

According to RB coach Joel Thomas the Huskies really haven't found the right spot for FB Kimo Makaula. They will continue to experiment with him this spring. My best guess would be a move to more of an H-Back type role.

So where exactly will Jake Locker end up at? It could be the Vikings who snag him with the #12 pick. Supposedly he really impressed in his private workouts with both the Hawks and Vikings. New England is also very interested. I don't think Jake last very long.

Jacob Thorpe of the UW Daily writes about the tight ends.

During the UW’s Saturday scrimmage, spectators saw something that hasn’t been seen around Montlake in an awfully long time: a tight end streak downfield, stopping to throw a fake and freeze his defender before continuing on his route.

Chris Fetters of Dawgman focuses on DT Lawrence Lagfuaina.

"Having 'Meda around and seeing the change that 'Meda has done with himself is really an eye-opener for Lawrence," Defensive Line Coach Johnny Nansen said before the beginning of spring. "If you look at Lawrence now, he's dropped a lot of weight and his body has formed into a football player's body."

Dave Boling of the News Tribune looks at the QB battle.

At some point before September, some young guy will take over as quarterback for the University of Washington football team. Whoever it is, it’s clear that coach Steve Sarkisian is going to make him earn it.

Remember Tevin Carter? He was a highly rated WR who was an early  verbal to Washington but ended up reneging to go to California. He has quit the team and may be through with football according to Bear coach Jeff Tedford.
