5'9 165 lb RB Tairen Owens from Muir High School in Pasadena became the first athlete to declare to Washington for the class of 2012.
Owens for 822 yards on 107 carries and 10 touchdowns and caught 21 passes for 206 yards and four touchdowns as a junior in 2010. Owens plans on playing at running back, slot receiver and on special teams.
