UW Basketball Recruiting
Angelo Chol who can help out with some of the problems the team is currently suffering from will visit on Friday. He is definitely a guy that can come and start next year at the power forward position. The regular signing period begins April 13 and ends May 18.
Sark Chat Recap
The Seattle Times scheduled a chat with Steve Sarkisian at noon today. Bob Condotta has done a great job this year with Husky chats and I think that today's chat may be the most interesting so far. Everyone loves recruiting and this is a chance to listen to Sark chat with the fan base.
Lawyer 2012?
LB Scott Lawyer is having shoulder surgery so he will enroll in January of 2012. That means UW is now only one over the scholarship limit for the 2011 season.
Forcier Decides
Tate Forcier is headed to Miami. He never lasted long enough to visit UW.
UCLA
UCLA made a run after Rocky Seto which shows you just how desperate they are when it comes to filling vacant coaching positions. Most coaches know that the UCLA job is a one year gig at best so anyone who has a secure job is not considering UCLA. Neuheisel now sits on the hottest seat in the Pac 12 and most of that has to do with how he has bungled recruiting and coaching changes during this off season.
