USC issued five apology letters to the five schools that Dillon Baxter said had contacted him after USC went on probation. Washington was one of the schools he said illegally contacted him.
It would seem that Dillon made the whole story up but we don't have any comments from him yet. If you are Mike Garrett you have to be in the market for some retirement property.
"I have spoken with Mr. Baxter and he has now confirmed that he did not receive a call from your institution," Garrett wrote to Moore. "Therefore, USC has no intention of pursuing this matter further.
"I apologize for any inconvenience or embarrassment this matter has caused to you and your institution."
