Huskies receive sixth verbal

Washington received another verbal commitment today from Long Beach Poly CB Kameron Jackson. Kameron told Coach Demetrius Martin that he had decided to make an early decision so he could concentrate on his senior year. Jackson is one of the top CB's in the West and is from one of the Southland's major football factories.

Jackson is 5'10 -175 and he runs a 4.45 40. Looking at his film it looks like he has pretty good speed and can also return kicks. Another big key to the early verbals is that even though Jackson was a target for both USC and UCLA he wanted to go to school outside of California.

Six commitments in April with five of them coming from California was unheard of previously at Washington. The Huskies under Sarkisian are a relentless recruiting machine. Becoming strong once again in Southern California is another good sign that this program is coming back quickly.
