Washington picked up its 5th verbal for the 2011 class today when WR/ATH Aubrey Coleman from Walnut Creek, Ca gaves his pledge to Coach Sark and his staff. Coleman is a 6'6 215 lb athlete who gives the coaches the type of tall receiver they have been looking to add to the squad. He also could play a number of other positions depending upon need...he has a nice frame.
I find it pretty interesting that the coaching staff has already picked up four athletes from California. Usually your earlier commits are from your own backyard. Speaking of the backyard these early commits tend to put pressure on some of the in state kids to make up their minds earlier so they reserve a spot in the class.
The coaches are committed to bringing in a full class of 25 in 2011 so that means once again attrition will be factor over the next year and a half.
