The Final Line: Washington 27 Arizona 17

The Huskies travel to Tucson to take on the 15th ranked Arizona Wildcats on Saturday. The guys in Vegas favor the Wildcats by 4.5 going into this one. Obviously they feel Arizona will be able to make up for the loss of QB Nick Foles with one of the nations best defenses.

I happen to think the Huskies are catching the Wildcats at just the right time. Whenever you lose a starting QB who was completing over 75% of his passes it is a problem. Matt Scott was sacked five times last weekend by the worst defense in the Pac 10. I think that continues on Saturday because Washington is going to try to disrupt Scott in the same manner that they did Oregon State's Ryan Katz last weekend.

Washington matches up with the Wildcats in much the same way Oregon State did on offense. Even though Arizona is strong and fast up front they have a lot of trouble with mobile Qb's. Jake is the most mobile QB they will face this season. If they over pursue he is going to pick up some big yards on the ground.

OSU QB Ryan Katz shredded the Arizona secondary two weeks ago completing 30-42 passes for 393 yards and two touchdowns. Washington is more than capable of putting up similar numbers on these guys if they can get off to a fast start.

Arizona has a tough defense but judge them by their performance against Oregon State because it is going to be a repeat on Saturday. Offensively I don't think the Wildcats will be able to keep pace with Washington with Nick Foles out of the game. the Huskies will keep things in front of them and pounce on UA mistakes.
