Oregon at Washington Pre Game

This in from Scott Johnson of the Everett Herald on how Washington players feel about this game:

"We hate them, and they don’t like us," Huskies running back Chris Polk said this week.

Added freshman teammate James Johnson, who is just learning about the rivalry: "Obviously, everybody hates Oregon."

"The Oregon fans are real crazy," junior linebacker Mason Foster said. "I remember coming in my freshman year, it was something I’d never seen before, like out of a movie. They were going crazy, yelling, calling your mom names. It just drives me. It’s going to be a great game."

Sarkisian on the importance of todays game from Todd Milles of the Tribune.

"I don’t think we are in spoiler mode," he said. "We win this game, we are one game out of first place. I think we’re in the thick of it just like the rest of the conference is, in reality. You don’t know what is going to happen week in and week out in this conference. You just don’t know."
