Pac Ten Round Up

Penn State 45 Oregon State 14

What was supposed to be Penn State's toughest nonconference game of the year turned into a laugher early. Oregon State fell to 0-2 for the first time since 2004. Evan Royster rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns. Daryll Clark threw two TD passes and the Nittany Lions defense didn't miss a beat when it counted. Oregon State is definitely in rebuilding mode. Joe Paterno will he'll be the winningest coach coach ever with 374 for a few hours till Florida State plays Coastal Carolina.

California 66 Washington State 3

Jahvid Best ran for 200 yards and three touchdowns Saturday as California blasted Washington State 66-3, spoiling coach Paul Wulff's first game back in Pullman since he was a star player in the late 1980s. This was the worst loss at home in WSu history. Nice to get it out of the way early Paul.

Oregon 66 Utha State 24

Starter Justin Roper returned from a concussion and helped the Ducks to a school-record 688 yards in a 66-24 rout of the Aggies on Saturday. LaGarette Blount ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns for the Ducks (2-0), taking on the bulk of the rushing duties after Jeremiah Johnson left with a shoulder injury on the Ducks' first series of the game.

Arizona 41  Toledo 16

Arizona's high powered offense didn't score 70 points this week but they had no trouble taking care of Toledo. The Wildcats are 2-0 on the season. Willie Tuitama completed 25 of 33 for 292 yards and two second-half touchdowns.Mike Thomas caught nine for 138 yards and one score. Nic Grisby rushed for three first-half touchdowns.
