Huskies knock off Oklahoma State

Washington continues to improve on the hardwood knocking off Oklahoma State 83-65 at Hec Edmundson Pavillion this evening. UW was led by Isaiah Thomas who chipped in 18 followed by Brockman who had 16. Pondexter added 12 in another strong performance. Justin Dentmon had his best game of the year scoring 14 points.

The story of the game was Washington taking over the perimeter. The improved play of the Husky guards is good to see as the team rounds into shape for the conference season.

The Husky as usual dominated the boards 41-27 and were led by Jon Brockman who grabbed 11 rebounds. Brockman got his fourth double-double in seven games this season for the Huskies (4-3), who had their most impressive showing of the young season.

Up next for the Huskies is Texas Southern on Saturday.
