Washington Beats Morgan State

Freshman guard Isaiah Thomas scored a career-high 27 points and Jon Brockman grabbed the 1,000th rebound of his career Tuesday night as Washington (9-3) extended its winning streak to seven, beating Morgan State 81-67.

Thomas was 9-17 from the field and 8-9 from the line as Romar gave him the green light in the final tune up before conference play.

Brockman added 18 points after sitting out 11 minutes of the second half with four fouls. Venoy Overton added 11 points with his second straight strong game.

This wasn't a pretty game as Washington shot poorly from the field all night. The Huskies will have to improve their focus to beat Washington State this weekend.
