Washington Volleyball team falls to Nebraska

The Washington Volleyball team fell to Nebraska last night in front of 5,325 fans at UW's Hec Edmundson Pavilion. Washington went out and won the first two sets. They were headed to an almost certain victory but the Cornhuskers rallied to narrowly win the last three and win the match to advance to the final four.

The Huskies were denied their fourth trip to the Final Four in five seasons and probably lost to the eventual champion. This one will go down inthe books as one of the better matches int hehistory of the tournament despite the Washington loss.

Coach McLaughlin and his team deserve a big hand despite the narrow loss. He and his team have built a juggernaught program which will continue to compete at a top level for many years to come.
