Seattle U. ready to tip off in Division One

When I was growing up in Seattle I was a Seattle University Chieftain fan. I attended most of the games with my dad and it was a tradition just like Husky football. When the program was terminated almost thirty years ago a part of old Seattle died with it.

Yes, as president of Seattle University, I'm overseeing a rising sports program. I'm told I'm the only college president in history to take the same athletic program from the NCAA's Division III to Division II, then on to Division I, or D-I, the highest level.
