In what is now known as the "all I saw was purple" game, from the quote given by USC QB Todd Marinovich following the Huskies harassment of him all day, the Trojans saw the arrival of the "Purple Reign" defense. USC was never even given a chance to stay with the Huskies, and fell 24-0 at halftime. Marinovich said after the game ``It's never over until it's over, but this one was over early.'
