QB Ronnie Fouch --- Starter for eight games in 2008 after an injury to Jake Locker, but then transferred following the 2009 season to Indiana State, where he was the starter last season. Interesting to wonder, obviously, how he might have fit into the 2011 QB situation had he stayed.
Locker has naturally grown tired of hearing about how much money he passed up by going back to school.
"I just cut them short," Locker said. "I've got a ring now and stuff you can't put a price on."

While the Pac-10 blog would never, ever -- ever! -- call one group of fans more obnoxious than another, there are some out there who might say something of that nature about Ducks fans
As for defensive coordinator, Hookem's Bobby Burton lays out a scenario that is behind a pay wall, but the gist of it appears to be that Stanford DC Vic Fangio has emerged as the new favorite.
One of Elway's first orders of business as a Broncos executive will be to discuss Denver's head-coach opening with Stanford's Jim Harbaugh, league sources told Schefter.
My belief is that Locker is similar to Tim Tebow coming out of college, with no throwing motion issues, better arm strength, and two years running a pro style offense. He'll need to spend time behind an established starter, and needs to be brought along slowly once he plays, similar to how Bill Belichick brought along Tom Brady and Matt Cassel as new starters. In the end, though, if brought along like Philip Rivers and Aaron Rodgers, Locker can be a franchise QB.
