Desmond Trufant runs a 4.38 at the combine
We've heard for a few years now that Trufant was the fastest guy on the Huskies, and he showed off that speed today, running an official 4.38 at the NFL Combine. Tru keeps climbing draft charts, and that showing may be enough to solidify him as a 1st rounder.

Sometimes we forget how difficult the recruiting game is. There wasn’t a head coach who outworked Romar for Bird, but he still didn’t get the kid. It happens. I remember watching Romar watch Bird and No. 7 senior Aaron Gordon (San Jose, Calif./Bishop Mitty) last summer. He would actually be the last person to leave the gym just so he could get the extra face time with Bird and Gordon.

Husky Stadium Update
Condotta captured some video on the progress of the stadium. For those of us missing Lear's updates, it is hard to not get excited by the arrival of some parts that look like "finishing touches" on the exterior.
