So, What Happens When Kiff Gets the Axe?

At the risk of finally getting a (temporary, it is hoped) ban, will raise the issue of the Coaching Elephant in the room. It's now obvious Kiff is a goner, and after the obligatory (millisecond) moment of grief for his passing of a Pac coach*, fact is that will set in motion a high stakes scramble. For the record, though I favored Mora at the time, was quite pleased w/ Sark's selection. Always figured Sark would get hired away from us after he achieved significant success. Based on his words, behavior, and his family appearing to settle in well in Seattle, I'll also admit to hoping he might choose to be a career homer here like Jim Owens, our beloved Dawgfather, and Jim Lambright. Now that Kiff is toast, U$C will be moving on and seeking the *very* best candidate that fame, history, promise of great success and $$$ can buy. It is their way. When they look, *everyone* is on the table, including NFL coaches (yeah, so Kiff was a mistake). BIG Question: *When* they ask Sark to consider the position: 1. Will he? (I'm guessing he'll consider it) 2. Will *we* be willing to step up and offer the $$$ to take money off the table? 3. If, God forbid, we lose him, will we persuade Wilcox to step up to HC? 4. Would Mora get a(nother) look? Are we willing to do what it takes to hire back home away from ucla? Will U$C go directly after their cross town rival's coach? Best Regards, * Did actually feel bad for both Wulff & Tedford . . . and others
