I know that the uptempo offense that Washington used this year seems to be an increasing trend among many teams in the PAC 12. I know that Boise St. ran a form of uptempo offense as well. It does seem to help the defense in recognition and pacing of the game when playing other up-tempo teams.
Would it be safe to assume that this is a style of offense that Peterson is already accustomed to? I know there were some times when I felt Sark would lose some focus on the pace that they were attempting to set, rather than the actual play calls. In fact ASJ seemed to get lost in the blocking schemes of this offense rather than being the potential offensive weapon that was capable of being. I am amazed that he received so many post season awards, since his stats were not overly impressive. (I'm sure that is my ignorance)
