Remember back in '83 when Steve Pelluer guided the huskies to that improbable victory over Michigan at Husky Stadium? Victory snatched out of the air seemingly from the jaws of a sure loss...only to travel to the bayou the next Saturday to get thrashed by LSU badly. Very badly. 2 years hence losing 31-zip to UCLA in the rose bowl only to win the "Rose Bowl" 28-0 over a favored Iowa team Jan. 1. I'm upset about losing terribly to ASU also because we should have been able to compete with them. One of DJ's teams were manhandled in the desert as well by a rose bowl champion ASU team with coach Cooper at the helm. Point is shit happens; always will. Our offensive line has been good enough to allow Sankey to almost lead the nation in rushing, but had a bad game last weekend, as the whole team did. Oh well. I think really Sark has done a good job this season and losing to Stanford and Oregon is not the end of the world as we know it to be. Let's beat Cal, then heal up during a bye, and then thrash the Buffs, then give UcLa and the Beavs (Eddy Haskell too) a battle they won't soon forget. Payback the boogers, win the bowl game and we are on our way dawgs...WOOF fricken WOOF!!!!!
