One of the big traditions at LSU is that they actually have a live Bengal Tiger as a mascot who resides in a cage adjacent to where the visiting team runs onto the field. Former UW head coach Don James felt that his team was actually intimidated by the Tiger when they played LSU in Baton Rouge back in 1983. He wasn't that happy with the officials either and vowed to never return. (I guess Scott Woodward never got that memo.) Sark is hoping that by conditioning his players to the Tiger at practice that they won't become fixated on the LSU version right before kickoff at Death Valley. The Tiger they are using today at practice is from a Wildlife Park near Canby, Oregon. The Tiger's name is Sheena and is pretty famous down in the Portland area.
