Well I am heading to Omaha tomorrow for my 14 year olds baseball tournament and the College World Series. Along with Stony Brook this will be my first trip to Omaha and, I am trying to figure who I should root for. I was going to root for LSU as their top Pitcher Kevin Gausman who was just drafted 4th overall is a graduate of my sons new HS. He will be a freshman next year. We were really hoping to meet him wearing our Grandview HS gear. But now I am torn and soliciting the dawgpounds help.

Stony Brook - Pros: The underdog who doesnt like the underdog. And they knocked of the aforementioned LSU.

Cons: Every fan that doesnt have a team there will be rooting for Stony Brook. Have you seen the wolf on their hat?

UCLA - Pros: Pac 12 Team with a legitimate shot to bring the trophy out west. Powder blue hats.

Cons: Beat up on UDUB. Powder blue hats

Arizona - Pros: Pac 12 team. Start out against hated FSU. Hot Coeds

Cons: UDUB Basketball rival more recently(in my eyes forever) . Cats as a mascot

Kent St. - Pros: Underdog not in the national headlines. Beat Oregon

Cons: Where is Kent St.? No real shot at going deep in the tournament.

Arkansas - Pros: Beat Baylor. Razorbacks! I have a good friend from Arkansas. Easy access to hats

Cons: SEC. There mascot is a Pig.

South Carolina - Pros: Gamecocks. Playing Florida in the first round. Two time defending champ.

Cons: Steve Spurrier. Wearing at hat around 14 year old boys that says cocks

Florida - Pros: Number 1 team in the country. Mike Zunnino just drafted by the Mariners.

Cons: Tim Tebow. Who roots for the favorite?
