One should only need to remind fellow Huskies that the zeroes are in town to fill up some seats on campus. When they are ranked and yet we are picked to win an upset, the intensity should rise even more. Get your friends, grab some people off the sidewalk and go spend 6 bucks to help support the Dawgs administer some anti-Philanthropy; the quackers need to be burned in order to learn a lesson, it appears, and baseball bats are perfect tools for the job. Sweep the egg layers back to the dirty nest commonly known as Eugene and the Dawgs can claim a rightful seat in the top 25, where they belong.
I went over the main reasons why the zeroes are overrated in the quarterly rankings post, and they proceeded to show the cracks. Oregon dropped two games to questionable opponents in their very own Nike College Showcase last weekend, going a shaky 2-2 while making some voters wonder if they made a mistake in Knighting the *ucks after just one good series. After the Vanderbilt series Oregon hasn't defeated a worthy opponent; now they get to face us.
A little statistical breakdown, then some words after the jump...

Oregon leads the all-time series 137-125-1; since Phil Knight purchased a college baseball team in 2009 Washington has doubled up the *ucks 10-5. The Dawgs won the season series last year down in Eugene 2-1 as well. Time to continue the dominance.
This series is going to be one big pitching duel unless the offense can break through the *ucks main strength consistently. I really hope so; really, really hope so. Nothing would make this Saint Paddy's Day better than waking up Monday morning to find the Dawgs ranked.
I will know much more about Oregon after watching them play, so expect a lot more Saturday morning.
