I hope we don't play to the level of our opponents again.
This is one team in the conference that we really can’t lose to.
Go Dawgs!!!
Let’s keep 1st in the PAC all to ourselves

Slow-mo ball
Teams such as USC with there deliberate offense and the propensity to slow the game down are the antithesis to what the Huskies want to do. With a team as young as this, I fear they won’t impose their will and style of play on the Trojans and will be forced to play in a half court slugfest and make this game much closer than it should be. Gaddy is the key to pushing the pace and getting the ball out in transition with Wroten hurting.
Wow
Early thread – go Dawgs!
I know!
I was going to put one up at 7 but JB beat me to it.

I tried front row sports and theyve been shut down by "homerland" security...?
It’s not like they were SO terrible that they became terrorists….sheesh….
Yeah, right before the Super Bowl
Coincidence? I think not…
Kemp showing moves there
I really hope he can be shaped in to something special down the line

Momo Jones played for Arizona then transferred to some small school.
This is Maurice Jones.
Actually Momo Jones scored 43 points Thursday night.

Works fine
Just use stream torrent. Once you have it, get it from anywhere, then just click on the second link, then stream torrent loads, wait for a couple minutes while it loads the game. I am watching it now via this method. I DLed stream torrent months ago. You don’t have to get it from their location.
Doesn't seem like Kemp is much better at the line than

It would be nice to have an easy game for once
And not stoop to the level of USC
I'm starting to see why USC is 1-9 in conference
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Is it just me or
Does USC not seem interested in rebounding
Can we not have a 10 minute break after every 2 minutes of play?
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Really weak offense....the rotating of the ball at the top of the key is not doing a dang thing
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 4, 2012 8:52 PM PST reply actions
Team really misses Suggs.
His all-purpose offensive game would really smooth over a lot of rough edges.
We got Isaiah Thomas against Nate Robinson tonight.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 4, 2012 8:56 PM PST reply actions
ya they are actually both in the game right now and guarding each other.
They don’t look so small when going against one another.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 4, 2012 8:58 PM PST up reply actions
So who looks better?
That sounds like fun to watch.
Both are playing pretty scrappy.
I’ve only seen Nate score once but I haven’t been watching the game much. Not really much of a Kings fan, but I do enjoy watching IT get his minutes and play well.

Well this is a bad start to the 2nd half.
Desmond Simmons has not played well lately.

Yikes!
Don’t think I’d wanna be the guy that gets landed on by Aziz.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 4, 2012 9:15 PM PST reply actions
Or the guy that fouls him...
Aziz gets mad pretty easy, heh
He's got a lot of want-to in him.
Makes him easy to like. He’s def got the build and wheels for it.
He's getting there.
For all the talk about how bad the Pac-12 is this year,I’ve seen a lot of serious pounding going on in the paint. If you drive to the hoop, you’re usually going to get knocked on your ass, or take a fore-arm to your face.
That's their game
a lot like Wisconsin or Bennett ball…except they don’t play good defense…and they don’t make use of their possessions very well. So exactly the opposite of Bennett ball and Wisconsin.
Aziz is a foul magnet
Not bad I suppose when USC only has 6 real players.
I hope someone is DVRing
Because he just made both!

I know we don't have much experience holding a wide lead for a long tim
But can we try to calm down when we have the ball at least? Seems we are a little out of control all the time. It is good AND bad sometimes.
I just think the half court offense is uncomfortable for these guys....
If they aren’t running then they don’t play as well.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 4, 2012 9:40 PM PST up reply actions
vaguely topical
what do people think of tonight’s Seattle Times story? short version; some hedge fund guy and the city are in deep talks about developing the area south of Safeco into a NBA/NHL-maybe arena. I dunno about having three stadiums next to one another, maybe it could work.
I am still pissed off at the NBA
I don’t know if i can muster the energy to care about a team that we steal from some other terrible market.
Aren't the Coyotes owned by the NHL right now?
It looks like the City of Sacramento is moving forward right now on a new arena. But I wouldn’t mind seeing them in Seattle. I’m sure IT wouldn’t mind it either.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 4, 2012 9:44 PM PST up reply actions
yup, sounds like a pretty bad situation for them
desert hockey!
I never understood why the NHL never put a major team in Seattle
Vancouver’s just a few hours away up I-5, and a natural rival. But, noooooooo, the NHL put teams in places that don’t even freeze in the winter. And they wonder why that league is on life support.
is it? I thought the NHL was doing decent
not gangbusters, but ok. with some…cryptic…decision making dragging them down.
The Key is a terrible hockey venue

Blame the Ackermans for that
they deliberately made it non-hockey friendly when they renovated the Coliseum. They didn’t want competition for their Sonics product. It was one of the most shortsighted and idiotic business decisions ever.
Shared infrastructure is handy.
Light rail, parking, freeway access (finally rounding into shape), restaurants, hotels. Avoiding the scheduling of simultaneous games is a minor hassle.
If you've own property between downtown and Spokane St....
You’re sitting on a goldmine. Development in that area is likely to explode, finally.
infrastructure makes sense
I was thinking of the perils of scheduling potentially 5 teams, but of course they’re not all playing the same season
Sounders, Sonics, M's, Coyotes would all overlap at some point
but Sounders/M’s would be the toughest one, and they don’t share a stadium.
Philadelphia
Philly has all the new arenas right next to each other. It actually looks good and I would imagine it works very well with the shared infrastructure. I
Why can't we play USC every week?

I think we are going to need to win 5 of our last 7 (14-4 in conf)
to get an at-large at this rate.
Don't think both regular season & conf tourny champs will get in?
I know the Pac has been poor this year, but still . . .
If we win the tourny yeah
I am just saying, if we don’t, we will need 14 wins probably. It is a good number to shoot for here
Auto bid for the tournament champ; not sure for regular season champ.
by HuskyInExile on Feb 4, 2012 10:00 PM PST up reply actions
Only automatic for tourney winner
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
If the Pac-12 regular season champ didn't get in...
Scott would go ballistic.
In a 68 team field?
You can’t tell me that the Pac-12 doesn’t warrant at least 2 bids, AT MINIMUM. I don’t care how bad they look. And yes, this year they do look bad.
That is VERY much what I want to believe.
I’ll be hugely disappointed if Pac gets snubbed that badly.
by HuskyInExile on Feb 4, 2012 10:08 PM PST up reply actions
Too many fancy athletes.
Yeah, they started out horrible, but there a lot of talented kids in this conference. And Romar has the most of all.
2 teams so far
Cal and Washington are the only 2 so far that warrant a look for at large bids according to every projection. A team like Stanford or Arizona would have to win the Pac-12 tourney to get in. Our out of conference record is pretty ugly when you look at it.
It is ugly. I can't begin to explain it.
I’m sure they’re better than they’ve looked.
We can't tell you anything
but some schmuck back east could pump the merits of Villanova playing in a tough conference.
Regular season winner
is an automatic NIT entry if they do not make the NCAA tournament.

OK, stop running up the score
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
why? if Romar's being a good guy and emptying the bench, why can't they play?
It’s USC’s problem if they are so short handed that the guys they have to play are gassed.
I mean really, it is U$C; they could pump up their BB program if they wanted to.
