A superhero

Especially if we can get IT back in SeaTown.

I have less inclination that the Kings are moving.

The city coucil passed a vote yesterday 9-0 to move forward with the arena.

I wouldn't be sad if the moved.

I know it would really suck for people here, but I would much rather have that actual team of players over the crap that is in New Orleans right now.

I hear ya.

I lived in Sac for 4 years and definitely enjoyed my share of Kings games – lotta history with that team, and the fans are certainly…interesting, haha.

The only problem I see....

They are asking the Maloofs to put in $85 Million of their own money and from it looks like, the Maloofs are hurting right now financially.

son and I were at restaurant

out of town (Colorado Springs) during one of his baseball tourneys. Some Arizona fans showed up and of course the cheers were back and forth. We jumped out of our seats.

mike jensen

announcer just had to bring him up. Still makes me puke

by CODawg on Feb 16, 2012 9:25 PM PST reply actions

So now basically we have to win out and Cal has to lose a game

And we’d get in the tourney. Winning the reg. season is an auto-bid right?

That's absurd

So we probably have to win the conference tourney because I doubt we get in anyway else.

not true

saturday is a big game. I think we need to get to pac 12 title game

by CODawg on Feb 16, 2012 9:38 PM PST up reply actions

I'm not saying that its definitely the case...

but like i said, our RPI is pretty low which isnt going to help.

by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 9:39 PM PST up reply actions

yes but finishing

second in the conference will get us in

by CODawg on Feb 16, 2012 9:40 PM PST up reply actions

One bid team

The entire Pac-12 has beaten zero top 25 teams. And we were blown out by multiple unranked teams.

I think you forget that the NCAA tourney takes the money making school over the small school

All else being roughly equal. As unfair as it is, Washington is going to get a bid over a team like St. Louis even though you could argue they’re the better team.

by twelveoutof10 on Feb 16, 2012 10:13 PM PST up reply actions

So if we finish 2nd in the PAC-12...

and then not even make the final in the tourney do you still think we get in? i don’t.

by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 9:42 PM PST up reply actions

A Win

However PG play was pretty darn bad.

by PurpleHeart on Feb 16, 2012 10:22 PM PST reply actions

15-4 run by ASU in the last 4:45

against the fearsome line-up of Sherrer, Stewart, Breunig, and Wegner. Not a big deal. The rotation guys had a 19 point lead going into garbage time and Romar wanted to make sure Sherrer got some good court time in likely his last chance since he probably won’t see the floor against Arizona.

Not a bid deal, guys.
