Good game right now between 'Zona and WSU
It better not go to OT though…
I refuse to root for the quackers
I hope Cal just fails to win.

What an absolute beast!
by CanisInvictus on Feb 16, 2012 8:44 PM PST via Android app up reply actions
Well, this is going as expected
So how about that arena proposal?
A superhero
Especially if we can get IT back in SeaTown.

I have less inclination that the Kings are moving.
The city coucil passed a vote yesterday 9-0 to move forward with the arena.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 8:53 PM PST up reply actions
I wouldn't be sad if the moved.
I know it would really suck for people here, but I would much rather have that actual team of players over the crap that is in New Orleans right now.

I hear ya.
I lived in Sac for 4 years and definitely enjoyed my share of Kings games – lotta history with that team, and the fans are certainly…interesting, haha.

The only problem I see....
They are asking the Maloofs to put in $85 Million of their own money and from it looks like, the Maloofs are hurting right now financially.

That was one of the more entertaining first halves I've seen all year

I was laughing so hard at the 30 seconds of pure circus act.
Turnover, bad pass, horrible pass, horrible fail. Hilarious stuff. It’s nice to have a lead like this again – I thought it was a thing of the past for this team.
by CanisInvictus on Feb 16, 2012 8:55 PM PST via Android app up reply actions
Ya it was looking like a JV game there for a few minutes
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 8:55 PM PST up reply actions
Definitely!
But the lead allowed me to actually enjoy it this time!!

a friend walked in my room, shook his head and goes "this is pac-12 basketball"
and he was right…

So are we cheering for Oregon I'm assuming?
As sick as that makes me feel.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 8:59 PM PST up reply actions
Exactly!
Oregon has absolutely nothing to do with it. No say whatsoever!
by CanisInvictus on Feb 16, 2012 9:02 PM PST via Android app up reply actions
Well the Ducks are up by 3 with 8:43 to go.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 9:03 PM PST up reply actions
Wish I could watch.
But I’m stuck here at this wonderful trouncing of some Sun Devils! Shucks ;)

Airball, airball, airball!!

I get chills everytime.

son and I were at restaurant
out of town (Colorado Springs) during one of his baseball tourneys. Some Arizona fans showed up and of course the cheers were back and forth. We jumped out of our seats.
Getting a little sloppy joe out there

I can really tell that Wroten has vastly improved his FT shooting.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 9:26 PM PST reply actions
So nice to have Wilcox back to shooting well!

UW Guards seem to turn the ball over ALOT
And can be really frustrating.
by unformatted on Feb 16, 2012 9:32 PM PST via mobile reply actions
I'm not just talking bout this year either
This year and the past, our guards are pretty sloppy handling the ball. Lazy passes.
Leave it to Oregon to piss away a game that would help Washington
Read my tweets or whatever - @SSReporters
So now basically we have to win out and Cal has to lose a game
And we’d get in the tourney. Winning the reg. season is an auto-bid right?
Read my tweets or whatever - @SSReporters
That's absurd
So we probably have to win the conference tourney because I doubt we get in anyway else.
Read my tweets or whatever - @SSReporters
Ya we have a pretty low RPI so it might be the case where we have to win the tourney to get in.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 9:37 PM PST up reply actions
Honestly we're probably one bad loss away from being on the NIT bubble
Remember that year we had Hawes and somehow didn’t make the NIT?
Read my tweets or whatever - @SSReporters
I'm not saying that its definitely the case...
but like i said, our RPI is pretty low which isnt going to help.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 9:39 PM PST up reply actions
One bid team
The entire Pac-12 has beaten zero top 25 teams. And we were blown out by multiple unranked teams.
Read my tweets or whatever - @SSReporters
I think you forget that the NCAA tourney takes the money making school over the small school
All else being roughly equal. As unfair as it is, Washington is going to get a bid over a team like St. Louis even though you could argue they’re the better team.
by twelveoutof10 on Feb 16, 2012 10:13 PM PST up reply actions
So if we finish 2nd in the PAC-12...
and then not even make the final in the tourney do you still think we get in? i don’t.
by SacramentoSeahawk on Feb 16, 2012 9:42 PM PST up reply actions
Think we need to win out and reach pac-12 title game
To get into the tourny. We just don’t have a ton of big wins. Handful of bad losses.
All season
He’s doubled his turnover average from last season.
Read my tweets or whatever - @SSReporters
Wroten is one of the best freshmen in the country
He’ll learn.

8 assists, 3 TOs almost a 3 to 1 ratio
He played pretty bad, but a bad game and 8 to 3? Still don’t see why Gaddy gets so much hate.
by Skeptical Dawg on Feb 16, 2012 10:26 PM PST up reply actions
Because he's suppose to be your leader
I just have a higher expectation of Gaddy because he’s one of the older guys and the position and the role he plays.
by unformatted on Feb 16, 2012 10:44 PM PST via mobile up reply actions
Well, good game except the late drop off
by Skeptical Dawg on Feb 16, 2012 10:17 PM PST reply actions
Garbage time + a little slop.
by CanisInvictus on Feb 16, 2012 10:20 PM PST via Android app up reply actions
A Win
However PG play was pretty darn bad.
15-4 run by ASU in the last 4:45
against the fearsome line-up of Sherrer, Stewart, Breunig, and Wegner. Not a big deal. The rotation guys had a 19 point lead going into garbage time and Romar wanted to make sure Sherrer got some good court time in likely his last chance since he probably won’t see the floor against Arizona.
Not a bid deal, guys.
