Ta'amu arrested on charges of fleeing police, DUI in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh authorities say former Washington Husky Alameda Ta'amu fled officers and crashed into four parked cars, injuring a woman, then tried to flee on foot before he was restrained. He had a blood-alcohol level of .196 percent, twice the legal limit, police said. The rookie defensive lineman, fled police and crashed into parked cars while driving drunk, then was arrested.

On a personal note Alameda had all the talent in the world and never got close to reaching his potential at Washington. Even though he was an under-achiever in college he still was able to flash enough potential to get drafted and stick with an NFL squad after graduation...this probably ends that opportunity for him.

Alameda is a real head scratcher for me...he could have been so much better and he never cared enough to put out the total effort to get there. What a way to waste your potential as a young man...thank God he didn't kill anyone last night.
