Washington at ASU Basketball Game Thread

PrintWashington squares off against Arizona State. The game started at 5:30 and it is on ROOT sports. Let's cheer on our beloved Dawgs and watch future NBA stars Wroten and Ross tear it up tonight. I suspect there will be an ASJ sighting and CJ Wilcox has been cleared to play, although his minutes will probably be limited.
So come join the usual suspects and have a good time as we hopefully knock off ASU.

I love it.
He reminds me of the physicality that Brockman used to bring. I can’t wait for his offensive game to develop.
N'Diaye with the block. And Wroten with a nice play on the other end.
I feel like we need something loud and exciting to get this team going.
ASU is like 6-13 (2-5)

Seem to have cleaned it up so far in the second half.
Yeah, definitely loving this little run we are on.
Gotta put them away. We have so much more talent.
What do we need to fix?

I'm not much of a basketball expert, but...
I think it starts with chemistry and intensity. In the first half, the Huskies always seem out of sync. Then we need to pick it up on defense, so we can start creating more fast break opportunities and get our offense in rhythm.
D Is the Key
For every Romar team the D is what keys the team to wins consistently. Even if we can’t get our O in sync before halftime for some reason at least we can keep it close with D.
When you post pictures, make sure you put something in the subject line, so you can collapse it.
Doesn’t matter much in this small three person game thread, but it is a life saver in the bigger game threads.

Wroten with 22 points to tie Quincy Pondexter (342) for 5th most by a Husky freshman.

If Aziz takes a big step up though like he did this year we would have a formidable presence inside.
