New Baseball Facilities *UPDATED*
As some of you might know, the baseball field just North of Husky Stadium is undergoing a pretty healthy renovation of it's own. From what I understand there will eventually be new bleachers, dugouts, and a new clubhouse and support building. The first phase of this facelift is the new clubhouse.
I'm lucky enough to be working on this project, and thought I'd share with you a couple of pictures I manged to snag. It's nice to see sports besides Football and Basketball being taken care of by the AD. It's also comforting to know that we're not lagging so severely behind in terms of facilities for sports like Baseball.
This is a wide shot of the new locker room. Eventually, a big plasma and nameplates on the lockers will be added.
Another shot of the locker room.
This is the crown jewel of the building. It is the team meeting room. It's unfinished, but a spectacular space to show off to recruits.
This is the view from the Meeting Room.
A mockup of the finished stadium.
I'm hoping to add to the shots tomorrow so you can all see some of the great views, and see where your hard earned donor dollars are going. Go Huskies!

I like it!
Our baseball facilities have been pretty much a joke for a while now – great to see the program finally getting a finished stadium and locker rooms and whatnot.
The stadium is still a joke
The facilities at my HS put these current ones to shame. This building is the first step to a nice place to show recruits. With a pro team in town, UW Baseball is always going to be a niche product, but the new stadium drawings look pretty special, if not spectacular like a PK Park.
Also, how many facilities does PK get named after him before we just call them the Oregon Knights?

No, unfortunately
Probably through the end of the week. I’ll post what I can though.

Great Pictures!
I hope we manage to get similar pictures of the football facilities as they are being finished.

Glad UW Baseball is getting some love.

Yeah I don't hear much about baseball
but would like to follow it. They came down to San Marcos, Tx last season for a tourney and I didn’t get to go. I was pretty bummed out because at that point I had never seen the Huskies play live, not any sport. Until the Alamo Bowl this year, which despite the outcome was probably the most awesome sporting event I’ve ever attended!

again, glad to see the baseball program get some love
Given my proximity to the school, I’d love to get out to the new Husky Ballpark and catch a few games – looks like it should end up being a nice little stadium when done. Certainly far better than the barely a high school field it’s been ever since it got moved from the old Graves field.
This is awesome. I play in the PSSBL, a men's baseball league.
And we normally get a few games at UW each year. While it was cool playing on a college field, it did not stand out as anything considered high quality. I’m not sure if we will get games on the new field, but if we do, it is absolutely something for me to look forward too.
