I think he is one of the rare “stars” you can really feel good about saying you are “proud” of…I most appreciate his “realness” and transparent joy of life! (Family!) He will continue to work hard and become a very key piece of what is about to emerge as the group that brings back greatness to the Dawgs!
stuffed away in Mercer my freshman year
I’m a little jealous seeing how nice the new hall looks. then I looked up the quarterly cost- $2525 per quarter for a double in Poplar? Oy.

I was in Terry. So weird seeing the big gaping hole where Mercer was now.

Yeah, just happened recently
Basically the U realized Mercer either needed to be renovated or replaced, because it had the worse retention rate of all the dorms on campus (big surprise).
When the estimates for renovation came in, it was almost as much as tearing down and replacing the whole thing with something bigger and better.
So Mercer is gone, and they’ll build a more modern apartment-like building for older students.

he is totally immersed in what it’s like to be first year on campus
he almost hits his head on the light fixture on the ceiling
his legs prolly stick out the end of his bed
that he’s a Dawg for life!
