Week one is in the books, lucky for us, the results from our weekly contest turned out much better than the on field results!

Straight Up Results: Congrats to OldDog, Gekko, Crazi, Carne Guisada, and kirkd, all five went 11-1 picking the games this week! I'm rather disappointed in myself, I forgot to add my prediction for the UW game, thus taking myself out of this elite group. Just a reminder, anyone who is highlighted in yellow has not yet picked 80% of the games for the season.

Against the Spread: Congrats to Johnny Cougar who finds himself all alone on top of the standings, he turned in an impressive 7-3 record against the spread. Hat's off to SeaHuskies, CAHusky (The Machine), and Kirkd, all turned in a very good 7-5 record against the spread.

Trend of the Week: Wow! We have far more contestants than last year and a Cougar fan is on top the charts! In other trends, the only game that surprised everyone one of us was Oregon State getting upset at home by Sac. State. Besides that, the results were pretty wide spread with no real surprises.

Weekly Notes: Always, Always, Always recheck my numbers!!! If everybody rechecks their own stats, it would greatly help the accuracy of our contest. The good news is that I keep all records for the entire season, it's easy to go back and recheck the stats. The bad news, as I mentioned in another thread, I've spent the last few nights flying all night long. My body clock is all messed up, so my math skills could be impaired.
