Nestor basically calls Sarkisian a fraud and the beneficiary of a media conspiracy to bring down the Weasel. He says that Sarkisian has done nothing without Jake, which I find to be an amusing statement given: 1) that Jake has been the starting QB for the last two years - by definition Sark hasnt even coached a game when Jake wasn't on the squad (and this totally ignores what Sark did with Jake) 2). He ignores the games the D won for UW last season ... Including the Holiday Bowl which is dismissed by his commentors as not impressive (especially relative to their win over Texas last season) 3) he dismisses our two straight wins over SC as not impressive given that Corp was the QB for the first one Obviously, the premise for the post is patently absurd. Nestor is trying to connect two situations that are not remotely similar in order to build up a case for why he believes his beloved (slick) coach has been mistreated and does not belong on proverbial hotseat. The reality is that Sark is a refreshing new face with a high level of energy who is taking over a once prominent program that was stuck in the lowest crater of it's history. Neuheisel is the opposite. He's a vagabond (nice guy, admittedly) with questionable capabilities who has failed to leave the programs he inherits in better shape than what he found them in going on the third time. I would login to engage in civilized debate over there, but I was banned long ago for burping in the general direction of LA. Not to worry Bruin Nation - you are free to come to the Dawgpound to discuss this matter. We won't ban you. Like our football team (and unlike your mods), we have thick skins and we love a good challenge.
