Cooper out for 2011, Z. Fogerson & C. Robinson have to retire
Trifecta of bad news today - Sark confirmed that Deontae Cooper reinjured his knee and will have to sit out the 2011 season. Also, Zach Fogerson's concussion issue from this Spring has not resolved in a satisfactory way and he has to retire from football. Same with Chris Robinson - his recurring knee issues are forcing him to give up football.

bad news for RB depth
With Cooper out again, that leaves Polk and Callier as the returning RBs; Johri Fogerson is still battling leg issues, so even if Sark leaves him eligible to play, he may be limited. Looks almost certain now that Bishop Sankey will play this season, and Dezden Petty has a golden opportunity to make an impression as the FB/big RB.
I think we also see now why Sark was eager to bring in Kyle Lewis, and why he told reporters the coaches are telling him he’ll get his first look at RB…
I would also expect that Taz Stevenson may again get looks at RB given the surplus of Safeties and the depth issues all of a sudden at RB.
Yup yup yup
Gonna need a full healthy season from Polk. Of he were to miss time, we’d be looking at a Callier / Sankey rotation. What about Sims at RB?
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.
