Barely a love tap. I'm really surprised that there isn't even going to be a Failure to Monitor charge, much less Lack of Institutional Control. Yes, they had to get rid of Tressel, but none of the shine is off that job now. They'll be able to hire from a deep pool of applicants. Two things I take away from this - 1. It sure does appear that the NCAA was overly harsh with USC. Way over the top. 2. I wonder what this kid-gloves treatment means for Oregon.
