Huskies get 2nd QB commit
Looks like Cyler Miles, the top QB out of Colorado this year has committed to the Dawgs, joining Jeff Lindquist to form an impressive QB class for 2012.
A little surprising on both ends - Miles for not shying away from UW despite the commitment from Lindquist, and Sark for going after 2 QBs in this class. I'd put good money that 1 of the group of Montana, Brown, Lindquist and Miles transfers before the 2013 season...

Miles has some serious wheels.
10.89 in the 100 meter is moving, especially at 6’ 4" and 220 lbs.
Lindquist’s comments about Miles’ commitment were great.
I agree that one of those QB’s is likely to transfer. Maybe before 2012, even.
I love it, Sark is bringing back the tradition of UW being a top school in the nation for QBs.
Also it’s kind of funny that since the Pac 12 announcement, Sark has stolen Brown from Utah and is now taking a top national QB recruit from Colorado’s own backyard. Welcome to the Pac!

Sark's Reputation
as a consistent producer of NFL-ready QBs is really paying off. Kids recognize that being around a coach like that, competing with other QBs of equally high talent is the fastest way to improve. I hope they all stay to get their degrees, but would understand if they want more playing time. Even if one of them transfer after 2 years, he will still have 3 years eligibility left to take what he has learned and get in the needed playing time to have a shot at the NFL.
"His track record with QBs is unreal"
… Cy Miles on Steve Sarkisian. I think that just about says it all.
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.
@chrislandon
my guess is that montana transfers
i think he probably expected to be the guy to replace locker. now he’s looking up at price (for possibly 3 years) with lindquist, miles, brown, and probably browne in the rear view mirror. unless price loses his starting job or misses significant time to injury, i would think montana is likely gone after this year
The thing about transferring is that there needs to be a place to go to...
… we shall see about that. Especially in the context of running a pro style offense under coaches who are producing first round QBs. That said, you may very well be right. But, who knows? Price is the guy now, but things can change. A bad fall camp, an early season slump, an injury? Montana is going to get a chance at some point this year.
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.
@chrislandon
I agree with above
What does this mean for the recruitment of Max Browne for 2013? We would have 5 schollie QBs I guess this is a good problem to have. 5 in hand is worth more than one in the bush or something like that. Great to be a husky.

Never even played at CU. I dont think that will happen to Montana but it will come down to what his goals are.
