Around SBN: NFL Owners Vote to Change Trade Deadline

39. Aalmeda Ta'Amu
81. Chris Polk
167. Desmond Trufant
175. Jermaine Kearse

I can't recall the last time we had 4 players show up on one mock. And all could see their stock climb significantly with Polk and Ta'Amu potentially entering 1st round territory. I've seen Trufant as high as the mid 50's and Kearse mostly as a 4th rounder.

Senio yes

Not sure Thompson can get there or not – he’ll have to have a big season and stay healthy.

QR could very well work his way up the boards with a strong season. He’s got the size the NFL loves in a CB and good enough speed – he just needs to show the consistency that he’s lacked for most of his Husky career, but started to achieve midway through last season.

Ta’amu could work his way up to 1st round status. Polk probably doesn’t have the top-gear that the NFL wants in a 1st round RB, but his toughness and production will make a strong case.

Kearse doesn’t have the speed to be a 1st rounder IMO, but if he overcomes the dropsies he can definitely go in the 3rd round – he’s got serious ball skills.

Tru needs to pick things up IMO. He’s got the tools, but much like QR, he needs to really bring his “A” game every time.

Senio...

the coaching staff believes he can be a first day pick.

Also, if Kearse can cure his occasional dropsies, I could see him being a first 3 rounder as well.

Ta'amu

If he can play most of the season like he did in the Holiday Bowl, he’s going to go high in the 1st round.
