Fun With Quarterbacks...
... I was thinking about young Pac 10 QBs and how well they transitioned into the role of starter. Its a cycle that repeats itself every year. However, as outsiders looking in, we always assume that transition always means "step backwards". So, here is a little game to get you thinking about the quarterback position for 2011. Match the young Pac 10 QB with his Scout.com credentials.
The QBs:
a) Nick Montana
b) Keith Price
c) Darron Thomas
d) Jeff Tuel
e) Ryan Katz
f) Kevin Prince
2) 3 Star, #19 QB
3) 4 Star, #19 QB
4) 3 Star, #59 QB
5) 3 Star, #40 QB
6) 3 Star, #50 QB

Thanks I couldn't resist looking it up afterwards.
"If you want your dreams to come true, don't sleep in."
I would answer that ... but I'll give a few more people a chance to play just for the fun of it.
… Just google their name plus scout.com and you’ll see.
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.
By the way ...
… Scout has Brett Hundley as a five star #3 QB rating.
If you saw his video on ESPN (ESPN followed him for a day), you can see what a fantastic kid he is and why Sark was so high on him. He’s the whole package – talent, an arm, mobility and high character. I hope he handles the situation in Westwood well.
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.
two. that's the best you got?

…looks like people are still having fun with it.
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.
I'm gonna go with...
Thomas 1
Montana 3
Katz 2
Prince 4
Tuel 5
Price 6
I know Katz was decently regarded…Not so sure about Tuel and Prince, though.

I thought it was, "So Trebek, we meet again."
I’ll take “The Rapists” for $200.
That’s “Therapists,” Sean.

Since there are multiple versions, it is hard to keep up. "A dog makes this noise?"
Mooo!!!
And I am pretty sure my answer above is correct. Being an econ major, I nerded it up with a spreadsheet and “played” the game.
Four! very close

one ... I feel like Bugs Dodger grading papers...
… Incidentally, following Bugs on twitter is a must do (@bugsdodger). He’s brilliant (and neurotic, and conceited, and verbose)

I'm not posting answers until I get 10 recs!
… The point has been effectively made, I believe. UWs QB situation is actually pretty good given the candidates. The element of competition ought to accelerate the learning curve. Add in a growing o-line, the best RB stable that (perhaps) we’ve ever had, and a few playmakers at WR and we all have reason to stay optimistic
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.

The University of Utah is off to the Pac-12 Conference and will be in the South Division. Hopefully we will get to the first ever Pac-12 Championship Game. Jon " Bones " Jones gets his chance for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title when he faces off against Shogun Rua. Jon Jones will win.

Pretty sure that’s right – just pulled it from memory.
Point is made. We have two guys who were ranked in the same arena as a few guys who became clear cut effective starters at an early stage in their career. I’m feeling better and better about it every day.
Damn, my eyeball tastes good.
Swap Price and Prince
And I don’t know that I would call Prince effective. In fact I would call him ineffective.
