Another week in the books, and another week of slipping down the standings for a certain pilot, I still get to blame Holt for my bad picks!
WEEK 9 RESULTS - STRAIGHT UP: Not much variety here, many people went 5-1, everybody else went 4-2. Only one wise person picked UCLA to win (prrbrr), unfortunately he also picked Oregon State to win, no perfect scores this week.
WEEK 9 RESULTS - AGAINST THE SPREAD: More variety, but too many people to list went 4-2. After that, the results were well mixed.
WEEK 9 STANDINGS - STRAIGHT UP: Another week on top for our favorite degenerate gambler B Money. Gekko Mojo is just barely trailing him, but kirkd won't be happy to know he lost a game on Gekko this week.
WEEK 9 STANDINGS - AGAINST THE SPREAD: CAHusky is holding his usual spot on top of the charts, followed by 206Dawgs and SeaHuskies has quietly moved his way up to third place.
WEEK 9 TRENDS: We have CHEATERS among us!!! First our fearless leader John Berkowitz had the perfect prediction that ASU would beat Colorado 48-14. Then Randall Floyd and CAHusky both picked the UW score perfectly at 42-31. Anybody caught time traveling during this contest will be expelled from the contest and forever banished from the UW Dawg Pound. (Hey guys, can I borrow the DeLorean this week???)
FULL DISCLOSURE: Per the "rules", picks must be in before kickoff to count. This week B Money and JoeinFW made their picks at 12:15 and 12:20, slightly after kickoff of the Oregon, WSU game. Both picked Oregon to win and cover. Seen as how EVERYBODY picked Oregon to win and they both lost against the spread, I thought it was fair to let their picks count. My philosophy is to let the "players" play and not let officiating determine a game. A theme I'm sure we all agree with this week. If you'd like to protest this decision, speak now or forever hold your peace!
