I would think that with the signing of Williams and only so many spots remaining...
Sark and Co. will be much more selective with their offers. They’ve already got the foundation of a solid class, now they need success this year to go after more big names.
Magic Number is 28
I am hearing that they will sign 28 players…they have three current guys who have verbaled who may not make it in.

Willis makes 18 commits – 16 seniors on team. I think and have heard the dogs will take 25 commits this year that leaves only 7 spots. One spot has to be for a QB that is our biggest need and I think we will take at least 3 more linemen(DL/OL). Would like a big thumper at ILB.
MLB is a serious need
Haven’t seen anyone on the board yet…they may have to go out of the region to find one.

Hold the extension
I think we need to go bowling prior to offering an extension. Let’s not make the same mistake ND made with Weis. Although we all know Sark and this coaching staff is going to be lights out better then Weis and his staff. Yet I hope Woodward has been thinking of an extension for Sark and possibly raises for the staff. I don’t want to see one coach leave until at least we make it to Pasadena.
All I saw was purple
Perhaps it is wise to hold the idea on extension
But if anyone besides Sarkisian deserves an immediate raise, I ‘d have to think that Nussmeier would be the guy. Most recruits that the Huskies have gotten commitments from lately, Nussmeier’s been involved with.

Good Call Carl
Sark is rolling in coin…he wants to keep his assistants happy. If he does that everyone will be fine down the line.

Martin's done pretty well too!
He’s the one I’m more concerned with.

Ivan Lewis
Is another guy they need to give a raise to.
Washington Husky Football-"Hear the bark, feel the bite!"
I'm surprised by Gilliland
I thought for sure he was going to be a candidate for redshirt. But it sounds like he is in the mix to see playing time as early as this saturday. Is he that good? Also I am anxious to see what Tim Tucker can do. I think we may see both in the game in certain situations.
All I saw was purple
Another kid I thought was candidate for redshirt
Does anyone know who we plan to redshirt this upcoming season? Some of the kids that I’ve heard, who have been impressive, I thought for sure would be a redshirt coming in. Besides Kohler and Porter- I hope we shelf all the other O line incoming freshmen.
All I saw was purple
Tanigawa
I thought he had a chance to play but I think he’s redshirting. Atoe appears headed that way too. That OL kid from LA and I can’t recall his name right now….anyway another RS

All the frosh OL look good…they only need to play one or two of them. Kohler and Porter were the most prepared from a physical standpoint.

Bigelow got injured again last week in a game
he might have blown out the knee again. I’m absolutely not over him…he’s dynamite, and if his knee holds up the best RB in the class.
Has there been any update on Bigelow? Without knowing any specifics, it’s possible that he may have just torn some scar tissue rather than re-injured the knee.
I heard he's due for an MRI this weekend
but it sounds so far like it might not be a big deal.
It might be for the best for us, we all witnessed what Will Shamberger has done since coming back. He was a similar case, injured knee, offers all dropped (except UW) and he came here and flourished.
I hate to hope that a kid doesn’t get offered, but guys like Nate Costa have shown that you can come back from knee problems and do good things. So here’s me hoping Sark keeps the offer on the table, because this kid could really be special. He by far has the best film of any RB in this class, and he has legit 4.3 (possibly sub 4.3) speed.
He's a smidge short for CB
If we do offer it’ll be Cooper Pueller style at the last minute I’d imagine. He could be really good, or he could get picked on by the huge Pac-10 recievers.
