Alvin Logan Retires
Husky linebacker Alvin Logan who was a starter at SLB coming out of spring practice will not continue to play college football because of a knee injury that just wouldn't heal right according to Coach Steve Sarkisian.
Victor Aiyewa, Josh Shirley, Matt Houston, and Jamaal Kearse will be competing for the starting spot in camp but there is always the possibility that the coaches could move Mason Foster back to SLB and start Jordan Wallace at the weakside.

Bummer
Good Luck to you Alvin. Husky forever BaBY! WOOF!!!
All I saw was purple
I had no idea his knee problems were this serious.
It’s too bad, I thought he looked pretty good this spring. Athletic depth if nothing else.

Man I love that! I guess all of us have a little “Crazidawg” in us!

This is a real bummer – I was excited about the athleticism that Logan could bring to the SAM position with his speed. Hopefully Aiyewa fully recovers from his own injuries and can claim this spot, or provide reasonable backup to Foster if he slides over from WIL with Wallace starting at the SAM.
Keep your eyes on Jordan Wallace, Josh Shirley, and Jamaal Kearse.

Hate to hear this type of stuff.
What a crummy way to end your playing days. I always feel for guys (especially high school and college) who have to hang them up early due to injuries.
I wish him the best, and like Crazi said, Husky Forever.

Thank you Alvin!
I appreciate how classy you were in making sacrifices for the good of the team. You’re a true Husky. Good Luck in the future. GO HUSKIES!
