Jeremiah Masoli Finished at Faber

Jeremiah Masoli has been officially kicked out of the University of Oregon football program for being busted for smoking pot which I always thought was a longtime football tradition at Oregon. I guess like being Gay in the military smoking pot is don't tell, don't get caught sort of thing in Eugene. He still has one year of eligibility left so he he can play at a lower level school if he wants immediately.

College stud with no NFL position

He was really good with that Oregon offense, but I don’t think there was much money waiting for him in the pros. What position would he play? He could be a wildcat QB, but that is an “additional duty” and not a real position. At 5-11 and his lack of accuracy, he would not even be a project QB.

To be fair, I’m not sure how one blows weed.

Great news for Purpledawg!

A topic off expansion is good.

It is expansion related...

The staff at the Eugene K-Mart just expanded by 1.

WOW!

That was the funniest thing posted in quite some time.

K-Mart or Wal-Mart??

Either way, you get the “Line of the Day” award!

Word on Wikipedia is that he's signed a LOI with Wal-Mart.

As we all know, these things are non-binding, so we’ll need to pay close attention. Coach Calipari could slide in and talk him into a management position at a mall kiosk that embroiders hats, so we’ll see.

"Character"...does it really matter?

The “Blount” truth is…the way things are being handled under “The Chipper” we may be witnessing the de-laminating of the ill gotten gains of duckdom…(A dawgsfan can dream!)

Seems like everything is unraveling down in Eugene

And it seems the only way Phil Knight can remedy the situation is to throw more money into it. How about offering morals and values to the athletic dept. first. Couldn’t hurt, because the way things are heading down there, by the time the season kicks off the entire offensive line will be sitting behind bars.

How is it unraveling?

it’s spelled "S-H-U-F-E-L-T-A-L-I-T-T-L-E-H-O-S-T-I-L-E"

Are U seious with that question?

Oh i don’t know, half dozen arrests, starting QB twice and booted from the program, your beloved Bellotti bailed, Kelley looks like he doesn’t know what to do…. you tell me how it doesn’t look like it’s unraveling?

by DAWGFATHER91 on Jun 10, 2010 11:00 AM PDT up reply actions

draw your own conclusions JShufelt

Things don’t look good in Eugene brotha. Am I alone on this one? Starting QB suspended for an alledged grand theft incident on campus? Kicked off the team for smoking pot, numerous arrests, starting RB involved with a domestic dispute (to put in nicely), multiple team violations, head coach not consistent with his own discipline policy or lack there of, Mike Belloti distancing himself away from a school he vowed he’d never leave.

there is a lot of turbulence in that program

… And it could go haywire for them. But they still have the time and the talent to run through the Pac 10 next year. Let’s not delude ourselves.

Damn, my eyeball tastes good.

Sad

Sad to see a kid ruin his future over something as stupid as pot. I hope UO can turn this crap around- I may want to beat them silly on the football field, but I hate to see a program seemingly start to lose control.

My question....who owned the Caddy?

Masoli was busted in an Escalade that he did not own…………..who did? How many other players are driving fancy cars that they don’t own. If I remember right, the UW went down because Billie Joe’s wife was driving a used Plymouth (well, that and the loan that bought it).
