Masoli booted from the Ducks after latest incident

So clearly this is a kid with horrible judgment.  This particular incident I don't find all that troubling in isolation - doesn't sound like he was necessarily under the influence (he wasn't charged anyway), the moving violation was relatively tame, and I'm all for legalizing pot.  But considering everything that he's been through recently, what a horrible bit of judgment - dude, you're already suspended from the team and you have to earn your way back and you're smoking weed?

At the very least, this story kills any speculation about whether Chip might relent and let Masoli back on the team this season.  He's gone, not returning.

“Give folks the benefit of the doubt”

Masoli has had the benefit and he’s left no doubt…he’s an idiot, even in Nikeland you only get 5 strikes
