Dillon Baxter Dipshit Post

**EDITORIAL NOTE - I am now amending the title of this post to "Dillon Baxter Dipshit  Knucklehead Post".  It's nice to see the young man make some progress.

LINK

Let's count the reasons why Dillon Baxter's accusation of UW contacting him is baseless and ridiculous:

1.  UW doesn't have room for him

2.  UW is stocked with young RBs

3.  Steve Sarkisian just observed what an irate NCAA can do to a Pac 10 program

4.  UW has been down the wrong road with the Pac 10 and the NCAA before

5.  Steve Sarkisian is not Rick Neuheisel

6.  Dillon Baxter is not Corey Dillon

7.  Dillon is the only person who has anything to gain by leaking the "news" that other programs are pursuing him

What a crock of shit.  Lane Kiffin is already losing control.

Yeah, I’ll be interested to hear more about this. I’m not (yet) willing to say for sure that Baxter 100% manufactured this accusation out of thin air, but it doesn’t make sense that any high-ranking member of our program would contact him.

And

it’s funny how quickly most every program on his list is already denying the accusation.

Kind of funny how he suddenly “lost” his phone – the piece of evidence that could prove or disprove his accusations.

I’d write this accusation off as a bunch of B.S.

I think Mr.Baxter's....

amazing ability to set people up… make them miss, and look silly…is as much of a surprise as his vulnerability to being set up…to miss, and look silly! Amazingly stupid… but, he is a young guy who hasn’t learned much other than some playbook….REAL maturity and character takes time….he’s just an overbuilt kid at this point. I just hope he doesn’t get stuck on stupid! Error in “public relations” putting it lightly…Just imagine the harsh treatment if someone burrowed some cash to buy a Camaro!? Welcome to the garbage dump of sanctions of your own making! I have a really hard time with all of the deluded arrogance acting out….This messed up mindset could get pretty ugly before the healing begins!

Was this an accusation fueled from Baxter or Kiffin?

Kiffin knows he is heading down a road where he is going to have to recruit his tail off. No bowl bids for 2 years, and 30 less scholarships available for the next 3 seasons. At this point it is critical that the players in the program and the incoming class stay in the program, because if they lose anymore players it could be devastating.

Regardless somebody is grinding an ax and I don’t know what to make of it, yet phone records could prove this story to be true or fabricated. The Fresno State allegation link seems weird. Does adding the Fresno State alligation make is seem more believable? I think this USC-Lack of institutional control is going to get ugly before the healing begins. You cheated and you got caught, no sympathy here…

i think it is more likely that Dillon is fishing for someone else to offer him a scholie.

…Because Lane Kiffin can’t possibly be so dumb as to instruct a kid to lie about getting inquiries. As you point out, disproving such an accusation shouldn’t be hard.

Damn, my eyeball tastes good.

Lol, Baxter also accused us…

Sorry bud, I don’t think you’re wanted at a place with LMJ, Barner, Seastrunk, and Williams.

With all due respect to those backs, I’m guessing Baxter would be welcomed with open arms by Chip Kelly…

by kirkd on Jun 17, 2010 8:53 PM PDT up reply actions

Of course he would. He would at Washington and everywhere else as well.

That’s why he was given scholarship offers from Oregon, USC, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, UCLA, and practically everywhere else.

Reworded:

Kelly would have no reason to contact him in a situation like that. Of course we recruited him, but it’s not like we need depth at the position.

I doubt any of those coaches contacted him. That said, if Baxter for whatever reason were available to be contacted, I have little doubt Kelly would do so. As good as all of those backs are at Oregon, Baxter is good enough that any coach would want him also.
