Rivalry week turned out how we expected, with the Arizona vs Arizona State game making the difference this week. Congrats to hairofthedawg, lorenzothedog, kirkd, and CAHusky, all of which were perfect with their weekly picks. Congrats to lorenzothedog and CAHusky for also being perfect against the spread, not a bad week!

Now for the good stuff, the standings! Here's the plan, there are four PAC10 bowl games starting with the UW game on the 30th, we will pick those four games and add them to get our final results. Here's my in depth (crunched a few numbers) analysis going into the the bowl games:

Against the Spread -   It's a two horse race between the

leader CAHusky and hairofthedawg, it's mathematically impossible for anybody else to take the lead. If my math is correct, hairofthedawg must beat CAHusky by at least two games to take over the lead. It's a tough task, but bowl games are tough games against good opponents that could be tough to pick.

Straight Up - The race is on! The top four contestants (myself, John B., B Money and kirkd) are in a very, very tight race. If my math is correct, anybody in the top five could still pull off a win. The key is that if any of us can beat the other three by just one game, then you win! In other words if one of us goes 3-0, and the rest go 2-1, then you win! I can't wait to see the picks for the UW game, will anybody be willing to risk it all and pick the Huskies??? Only time will tell!

It's been a great run, I've really enjoyed being a part of the competition, it's added an extra bit of fun to the season. I'm shocked at how close the results are, everybody who participated (except maybe one) should be very proud of your football knowledge, it's a really compliment to the quality of the readers and admin at the UW Dawg Pound blog.
