I know this is a Husky blog; however, for most of us living in the Seattle area, I was born and raised here. Dave Niehaus is an icon and is just as much part of Mariner legend as Ken, Edgar, and Jay. This is truly a sad day for all Seattle area sports fans. Dave will be greatly missed and will never be replaced. It will be difficult next year listening to Mariner games and not hear the most well known voice in the region.
