How much will Husky Stadium cost average King County taxpayer/resident?

I think that this clears up a whole lot for  me. I don't live in King County so I stand to pay little of nothing for this project as do the average tax payer/resident. This is just  peanuts. Once this presented to the public I think that support  for this project will grow by leaps and bounds. Go Dawgs.

Good Points

But number one, how many voters/residents are going to actually read this? Number two, how many residents are going to believe it? Sad fact of the public and how they base their opinions.

Where did they get that picture???

That looks like a much newer, much more professional drawing of what the Stadium could look like. Notice the lower bowl looks much more square, the upper bowl matches very nicely, and it appears like there will be offices overlooking the field. Anybody know where we can find more of these pics??

Didn't You Get That Lear?

I think I still have it in a file. I think John had it posted too. I can email it to you if you’d like. There are a lot more pics in the file.

I remember . . . .

seeing a bunch of artist renderings, but this picture seems much more polished than any other pics I’ve seen. Or am I just losing my mind??

No you must have...

…missed it. There’s a whole bunch of great pictures. I’ll see if I still have it. JB might still have it too or know where you can access it.

We really need...

…to get the word out to the average King County and Washington resident. That amount of money is peanuts in the big picture. If the cougs get there yearly subsidy, we should be able to get some amount for infrastructure. Maybe we should protest the state subsidizing the cougs? Some people were livid that the UW had the audacity to ask for help with Husky Stadium while the cougs were “going it alone” on there upgrades. Does the average Joe realize that the cougs get a hefty amount of tax dollars to keep their athletic dept afloat?

Thanks again

That pdf file is incredible!! My family has been in construction for ages, so I find it really interesting to look at the layouts to see how it will all work. It can’t happen soon enough, GO DAWGS!!!!!

It's Really Going...

…to be something! Can’t wait to have the lower bowl positioned up close to the field and the whole thing is just the bomb! The Football Building is off the hook! GO DAWGS!!

Everything You Wanted...

…to know about college athletic departments. It is the bomb!

The bottom line for wsu and UW are about the same. The difference is wsu gets almost 8 million in direct and indirect support vs 2 million for UW. So is the UW off base in asking for help for this extremely expensive project? Further is wsu nuts for protesting it and bringing these facts to light?
