Chinook's Dawg Boat

I've always wanted to take a boat to a Husky game and haven't had the opportunity yet. I've read about Chinook's Dawg Boat in the past, and am looking into taking it to one of the future games. Would any of you happen to have personal experience, good reports, bad reports, basically if you have any information, it would be greatly appreciated.

Or if have any other recommendation for getting to Husky stadium via boat, that too would be greatly appreciate also.

Thanks for the help, GO DAWGS!!!

It's the bomb!

The best way to go to a game IMO. I went on one that started from a certain restaurant on the east side. I think it was along the Kirkland waterfront. Anyway we had a lot of fun. Is Chinooks the one that serves breakfast before you leave and dinner when you get back? I’ve wanted to take that one but just haven’t done it yet. I loved it when Ivar’s had post Husky Specials. They seemed to quit doing it and we quit going there. GO DAWGS!! The only REAL waterfront stadium in the country! My buddy was trying to convince me that Tennessee had something similar…NOT even close!

Chinook's is close to Ballard

It’s at Fishermen’s terminal, very close to the Ballard Locks. I thought I heard they included brunch, but that’s not the case. A boat from the east side would be great, maybe I should look and see if Argosy has anything.

Argosy that sounds...

…familiar, I think that might have been the one that I went on.

Thanks, found the website

The Ivar’s one sounds like it has some potential, it seems to be the best deal in that it also includes brunch. I would love to hear if anybody has been on it, and what they thought.

Thanks B Money, which one of us is finally going to get a fantasy league win this week?

Ya, I finally won one.

I’ve been putting up good numbers, but finally got a win. Here’s the real toe kicker, they guy I was playing had Jahvid Best on his team. The only thing that saved me was that he also had Forcier at QB who only scored 4 points.

Not yet

I’m planning on going on the boat from Ivar’s Salmon House for the Arizona game. They offer brunch and the boat ride for a pretty reasonable price, the other boats are a very similar price but without the brunch included. I’ll be sure to give a fan review of it afterwards.

AWESOME

Ivar’s Salmon House is a GREAT way to get to a game. It is going to become a yearly tradition for us. They put on a great buffet, all you can eat dungeness crab legs, salmon, prime rib, lamb, and every other type of seafood you could dream of. The boat had a good crowd, but didn’t seem overly crowded. It’s a quick, fun boat ride to the stadium, and a pretty good way to get away from the stadium and the traffic. I wish the boat would leave 15 minutes earlier, make a quick trip around Lake Union and around Portage Bay, so you could get a better view of the stadium from the boat, guess I just need to buy my own boat. Outside of having your own boat, it’s a great way to get to the game, we will be doing it at least once a year from here on out, I definitely recommend it to everyone!
