SB 6116 - Funding arts and heritage programs, tourism promotion, youth sport activities, regional centers, publicly owned stadiums, community development, and low income housing in a county with a population of one million five hundred thousand or more.
A public hearing has been added regarding SB 6116 which would allow state funding to be used for Husky Stadium and Key Arena. The money would come from an extension of current tourist taxes in King County which were used to help fund Safeco Field and Qwest Stadium

If you are a Husky fan and can make time to be area this is your time to be publically heard. Plenty of Sonic fans will be there and count on our friends the Cougars to be represented also.

I'll be there
finding a place to park that isn’t a mile away could be a problem. The Capitol Campus isn’t user friendly

I can’t make it to Olympia from Bellingham today due to health problems, but I would like to point out that the building where they are having the meeting is named after Johnny Cherberg,
HUSKY COACH from 1953- 56! It would be kind of nice if someone brought that up in the meeting.
Johnny Cerberg Con't....
He was’nt a very good coach, but a pretty good football player for the Dogs, as well.
Huskies in Portland via Olympia
So here’s my line of thought on this. The DAWGS play in Portland on Thursday, the caravan of DAWGfans could stop into Olympia and attend the public hearing. Wouldn’t that be a MONDO show of support by Husky Nation?!
