All Time Husky Football Team - OLB

Jason Chorak was the big winner at DE followed by Andy Mason, Jim Lambright, Jamal Fountaine, Daniel Teo Nesheim and Kai Ellis.

I voted for Chorak, Mason, Fountaine, Brock, and Greenlee and Richardson. If I voted for six Lambright and Fountaine would finish off the list?

Teo Nesheim?

I like Daniel but he needs a strong senior year to move into my top six.

I can't believe you guys left a consensus All American like Greenlee off the list.

Who are the Best Outside Linebackers in Husky football history?

Some pretty big names we all remember here such as Antowaine Richardson, Martin Harrison, and Mark Stewart to name a few.

I went with Mark Steward, Fred Small, Martin Harrison and Donald Jones. Tony Caldwell would’ve been my fifth pick.

Mark Stewart

was my HS football coach (Meadowdale HS in Lynnwood, WA) he’s intense and a really good mentor. I think he needs an assistant job somewhere in the college ranks soon.

Stewart was a beast for the Huskies. I was surprised he didn’t have a better NFL career – he had great size for the position and made play after play. Hard for me to believe he graduated 26 years ago…

I voted for Tom Greenlee

and not just because I knew him, but because he was one of our few consensus all americans. Guess the vote reflects the age of us bloggers

OLB Chico Fraley?

John I might be wrong but I seem to remember Chico Fraley as an OLB. It would be hard to leave Fraley off this list.

FWIW, Fraley is listed as an “ILB” in the letterman section of the UW media guide, and that jibes with what I remember – that he was an undersized guy for and inside LB position, but damned if he didn’t make a ton of plays despite his relatively light weight.

Chico Fraley

Thank you John for some reason I remember moving around the line alot. Which could be the reason I thought he played OLB. Kirkd you are right Chico made a ton of playes
