Dang John!

You are really on the ball! I thought you were going to be out of town?

OL Coach hire to

Dan Cozzetto tight ends coach from Arizona state. Sark has been busy today.

Ugh

Man, the reports were not good about Cozzetto from his last go-round here. There’s a line between being a hard-a$$ and an a$$hole, and the verdict was he’d crossed it. Hopefully those reports were just sour grapes from lazy players, but I’m not real thrilled with these rumors…

Ugh,

After what I witnessed from the Offensive line last year they needed an a$$hole to get them motivated. They should of all given back their scholarships. So bring him on. Last years Offensive line was the most dissapointing aspect of the whole team. IMHO

Ask the 2003 offensive line how well Cozzetto’s brand of “tough love” worked out…

Once again, there’s a difference between a “hard-a$$” and an “a-hole”. Maybe Cozzetto falls on the correct side of that line, but that’s not entirely certain from his previous stint here.

I see where you're coming from

but you have to remember that it was also a change from Rick, and whoever his OL coach was, to Cozzetto’s style. That was probably quite a shock to their systems.

Cozzetto

This guy is perfect. Hard nose and dont take crap from any body and especially his players. He expects 100% on every play and will punish you for mental mistakes. Sounds like Holt but for the O-Line. Only time will tell but can you imagine Competition Tuesdays…Holt’s Def vs Cozzetto’s O Line, across from each other, screaming. Talk about intense!

WOW! What a difference compared to previous UW coaches. I love the energy and enthusiasm for football! I also love the fact that Sark is so in tune with what these young kids are into. He’s into that Twitter website (which an “old guy” like me didn’t even know existed.

This is very important

It allows them a chance to see who they want to go after, even when they are as young as 8th grade. Great idea and hopefully it will pay dividends in the long run.

2nd Verbal for Football?

The New Big DAWG on the block may have his second verbal of the 2010 recruiting class. Really though it should be considered his first, when you think about it. I’m not sure who it is but they have a picture of that big defensive lineman from Lakes High School (my alma mater by the way!) on their website (Dawgman).

Sione Potoae

I believe this is who you are talking about. Anybody have any info?

Why is Rivals making it seem like Zach Fogerson might be looking else where? Is this just him making sure he made the right chioce? ( i assume this to be true and expect him to be a dawg, just curious).

There hasn’t been any info that I’ve seen on Dawgman about Zach wavering in his commitment. It wouldn’t shock me if he decided at some point to visit other schools, because why not get the free visit? But I’ve seen nothing to indicate he’s backing off on his commitment to the UW.

WOW! This is HUGE!

I’m loving this, first WSWHO being sanctioned and then the DAWGS picking up this huge verbal. This kid went to MY highschool! Can you tell that I’m a little JACKED UP about this!

We also signed another kid for the 2009 class. I guess it’s CJ Wallace’s younger brother. He’s going to start at outside linebacker. Keep it coming Huskies!

Oaks Christian

Cozzetto?

I am not completely sure but I don’t think Cozzetto will be the guy they end up with at OL coach.
