Utah rallies to beat California
Utah true freshman Jordan Wynn threw for a career-high 338 yards and three touchdowns to rally No. 23 Utah from an early two-touchdown deficit to a 37-27 victory over California in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on Wednesday night.
After being thrashed 42-10 by Washington in the regular season finale I expected Cal to rebound against Utah last night. Cal blasted out to a 14-0 lead and it looked like they were headed in the right direction until Utah scored 24 unanswered first half points to take a 24-14 lead at halftime.
Utah's Stevenson Sylvester returned an interception for a score late in the fourth quarter to push the lead to 37-21 which clinched the win for the Ute's.
Utah won its ninth consecutive bowl game, extending the longest active streak in the nation and tying USC from 1923-1945 for the second-longest such streak in FBS history. The Bears dropped to 4-7-1 in bowl games in the state of California.

It's funny...
…because as soon as I started watching the game, Utah dominated. The score really wasn’t indicative of how dominating Utah was.
Washington Husky Football-Undefeated 1991 National Champions 12-0!
Cal didn't help themselves
They waited way too long to adapt their play calling to what Utah was doing on D and when they did the receiver dropped the ball or Riley misfired.
The Pac will win the rest of them
Cal and OSU were teams that just didn’t show up to play….I think the rest of the participants are motivated.

I hope so, or I want my old post back
I said that Pac victories would enhance the conference in the eyes of the nation. Butt kickings like the last 2 nights have the opposite effect.
So far the only positive thing I see is based on Crazi’s statement about never cheering for Oregon because we want the NW recruits to come here. If this Pac thrashing continues, the UW is going to pick up a bunch of stud decommits from other schools.
