Winded

You can tell the huskies have played three days in a row. They seem tired.

56 points wins are always a good sign...

Quincy is gonna be huge this year, he can take over the post better than anyone on the team. MBA is looking like our post defender and our guard play is as advertised. Gonna be a good season.

Look at the improvement over three games

This team is solidly jelling over three games…..good to see.

tourney thoughts

attended all 6 games of bball tourney. Portland St has really fallen, fundamentally they are not a good team Hard to believe Bone has been gone less than a year and they were actually in tourney last year. Wright St is not a bad team at all while Belmont has its moments. The Dawgs looked better each night. The first game besides playing against the second best team in tourney, they were a 2 man team and the rebounding did not look good as well as 3 pt shooting. Each night they improved as the competition got worse.
I liked the way in the second game how IT gave the rock up to MBA to get him involved early. Gaddy is amazing, when he catches his teammates by surprise with the passing you have to believe. Holiday really got better each game too, and Gant remains a quiet work horse. Suggs play has stepped up a lot. Lorenzo is going to have a problem dishing out the minutes. QP and IT are QP and IT. just awesome. I also like what I see from Trent and Turner.
I think Josh Smith made a big mistake. And lastly, the DawgPack did a great job zinging the opponents. Won’t get to see them play again until Montana, too bad.

Josh Smith

You have to wonder what is going through his head?

Nothing wrong with picking a program like UCLA but when everything you need is a couple of miles from home it is a puzzler? Sometimes kids just want to go out of state. He is a likely one and done player based on what people are saying. So maybe he looks at a year in LA as a well earned vacation.
